Has been a very busy night and day for me away from the computer, so I've only got time to post a couple of things before I hit the sack. Rest assure, tomorrow I'll post all the news I was wanting to post this evening along with a screen shot of a very cool looking new stadium.

Alex has (once again) updated the Downloads page. This influx of files should keep all you add-on crazed fans out there happy for sometime to come ;-)

>> SOCCER GAMING has posted news on a new soccer game. It has startled me to see that this site (FIFA 99 Online) receives almost three times the amount of unique hits than Soccer Gaming. Soccer Gaming is updated far more regularly yet is no where near as popular as FIFA 99 Online. I don't understand why... perhaps if you have a reason you could send it in and I could finally figure out why :-)

As you may have noticed, very little news about FIFA 99 has been coming in. On top of this Alex has been extremely busy and we are in the process of finding a helper for Alex in the Downloads section.
All the major news from the soccer games world seems to be non-FIFA 99 related. You can check it all out at SOCCER GAMING which is updated numerous times every day. The current big headline is EA Sport's deal with the MLS (finally!). Check it out.

Here's a cool site for all you guys and girls who want to here their favourite songs in FIFA 99. FIFA 99 World now has a page that has a new song everyday along with a section where you can request your favourite music. I'll be posting some music on this site that was converted by Daniel Sellars shortly. It includes the very popular "Right Here, Right Now" song by Fatboy Slim.

Sorry about the lack of updates. I've been unwell and spending a lot of my time studying important exams I have coming up at school. Don't get me wrong, this site is important, but doing well in my final year of high school is my first priority. After I graduate, however, things will be totally different and you'll begin to see the entire SOCCER GAMING network improve dramatically.

>> Ric, the FIFA 99 Forum manager, let me know that a patch for the people who are having problems with their new VOODOO3 cards in FIFA 99 can be found at 3DFILES.COM.

Click to enlarge...>> The guys from FIFA Mania have done it again. This time they have put together a brand new stadium: Ohio, USA. Click here to visit FIFA Mania and download it today. It works in both normal and 3Dfx modes.

Here is some great news for our Israeli visitors. Leumit '99 has just been released in Israel. Sahar from our new Israeli affiliate site, www.fifa.co.il, let me know that the Internet version of the huge add-on is available for download. It weighs in at over 31 mb, so I would save a weekend for downloading this baby. Here is a list of it's features:

- Option to play with ISRAEL & AUSTRIA in Hebrew.
- Up to date rosters for both teams.
- Ramat-Gan stadium (the Israeli national stadium).
- More than 20 new menu's. - Real Grass - version 2.
- New Adidas ball (support 3dfx and non 3dfx).
- The most up to date Israeli jersey (by Roy Peri).
- Easy to use installer program in Hebrew.

This add-on is only in Hebrew. CLICK HERE to download it direct from fifa.co.il now.

>> In other Israeli news, the former Israeli FIFA 99 Online has been closed as www.fifa.co.il and FIFA 99 Online are now affiliate sites and have agreed to exchange links and news.

>> Just a slight alteration on a false link that was posted last week. There is a new Danish FIFA 99 Add-on at www.mads.larsen.mobilixnet.dk.

>> 4:40 p.m.
The FIFA 99 Forum finally works in Netscape again!

>> 7:28 a.m.
Alex Harris is looking for someone to help him maintain the Downloads section. As you can all see, the page has not been updated in a while. I would like it to be updated at least every second day, however, with Alex's work commitments, this is not possible. If you are interested and skilled at webpage design, email me at matt@soccergaming.com.

>> SOCCER GAMING have launched a new 24 hour a day, 7 days a week Soccer News service.
