March 23rd:

>> 10: 24 p.m.
Chris Davies has sent me a new features list for the English Super Patch (ESP).

* ALL 24 Division One teams, ALL 24 Division Two teams, and 2 Division Three teams are included instead of the Rest of Europe league, which has now had it's name changed to the "Nationwide Leagues"! Since the last English patch, the Nationwide Leagues teams have been COMPLETELY re-inputted, with the help of match reports and club websites, so now I can guarantee that ALL of the Nationwide League squads are accurate.

* All correct Premiership kits for the 1998-99 season (which have had all of the graphical glitches ironed out, and now look absolutely brilliant), and all of the correct Nationwide League kits that we could fit in (Fulham, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Tranmere Rovers, Reading, Barnsley, and more!).

* ALL teams, yes I said ALL teams, have proper kits rather than some having Premiership ones! Also, ALL teams have correct transfers and team management - see below for more information on that...

* Updated player attributes, team attributes, transfers and team management for ALL the teams in ALL the leagues by Jochen Tree - except the Nationwide Leagues, which are done by me, Chris Davies.

* Unbelievable new menu screens by Kristian Borten!

* Nice Adidas Predator boots (by Patrick Rose) - I hope he doesn't mind me using them in this patch!

* A file that makes the default game one of the most action packed possible - Manchester City v Manchester United!

NEW FEATURES

* A nice little setup.exe program so that everything can be installed quickly and easily is how you install the patch, and if you don't like the patch, an easy un-install program is installed. Every single file that is over-written is backed up, so that the un-install program can restore them with no fuss.

* REAL STADIUMS!!!, including Manchester United's (Old Trafford), Manchester City's (Maine Road), Liverpool's (Anfield), Sunderland's (Stadium of Light), Chelsea's (erm...), Tranmere Rovers's (Prenton Park), Arsenal's (Highbury) and Fulham's (erm...).

* Updated names and pictures on the "Stadium Select" screen for ALL of the stadiums.

* Premiership Graphics Upgrade (to be downloaded separately), so that the Premiership ball is used, the Premiership adboards are used, the Premiership numbers are used, and there are NO Nationwide League jerseys.

* Nationwide Leagues Graphics Upgrade (to be downloaded separately), so that the Nationwide League ball is used, the Nationwide League adboards are used, the normal (fixed) player numbers are used, and PERHAPS, yes, PERHAPS, the Premiership jerseys will be replaced by some Nationwide League ones.

* F.A. Cup Graphics Upgrade (to be downloaded separately), so that the Sahar ball is used, the AXA adboards are used, the normal (fixed) player numbers are used, and the F.A. Cup logo is on the sleeves of the Premiership and Nationwide League jerseys.

* Worthington Cup Graphics Upgrade (to be downloaded separately), so that the Nationwide Leagues ball is used, the Worthington Cup adboards are used, the Premiership numbers are used, and the Worthington Cup logo is on the sleeves of the Premiership and Nationwide League jerseys.

* New EA Sports logo (the one that you see on the top left corner of the "Match Select" screen), so that it actually is the F.A. Premiership logo and the Nationwide Leagues logo.

* New "Match Select" text, so that it actually says "The English Super Patch".

* New "European Dream League" text, so that it actually says "European Super League".

* Roster updates for ALL leagues in the ESP released EVERY SINGLE WEEK! This will include a 1999\2000 update for all of the leagues in the ESP, when the time comes!

* EVERY SINGLE PREMIERSHIP JERSEY is being COMPLETELY RE-DONE (by Kristian Borten)!

* A few more Nationwide League jerseys have been added. * The new referee jerseys (released on Saturday (on Soccer AM on Sky Sports, here in Britain), and featured for the first time in a match on Sunday (in the Worthington Cup final)) for ALL of the English leagues.

* New flags for some leagues

* New menu screens

This patch may not be released on schedule, however I am sure you will all agree it will be well worth the wait.
