section. He has posted the Mexico 1986
World Cup patch. He also has posted some Italia' 90 screenshots,
the patch itself will be available soon.
>>I
received a message about a new UK Modem League being created:
"
I'm organising a tournament for all players of either Fifa99
or Fifa2000. The Fifa Cup will be a one off knockout competition
run along similar lines to the F A Cup. There will be prize
money available (at least £150 to the winner) and a real trophy!
Everyone that registers can also enter a draw to win a copy
of Fifa2000. You can check out the website at http://members.netscapeonline.co.uk/chairboysbmyarmy.
I have registered the domain name www.fifacup.co.uk,
but as I write this it's not yet live. I have just started
to publicise the site, so I'm not expecting the tournament
to start until late November...."
......"
This concept is a first for Fifa modem gamers. Most competitions
available at the moment ask you to register using one of the
teams in Fifa. So the poeple who register first get the good
teams. With this, all you do is make up your own team name,
and you can then choose any Fifa team. So everyone starts
from a level playing field. Depending on the number of entrants,
the prize money might well increase. At the moment
this tournament
is open to UK
gamers only. However, I would invite anyone who plays Fifa
to visit the site and contact me to state their interest.
In time, I'm hoping to develop a competition for each country
that shows interest in the idea."

This
is the new version of the FIFA
Multi-Roster assistant. It fixes some bugs in the beta
version including:
"There
was a problem where some files in Fifa99 or the additional
leagues folders had read only properties, this stopped the
MRA from copying the files and crashed with an error code
'Permission denied.'
If
you reorganised your directory structure after you have loaded
the MRA it will now default the Root League Directory back
to C:\Program Files\EA Sports\Fifa99 if the previously set
directory has been moved/deleted. This used to cause the MRA
to crash as it could no longer recognise the root directory
Fifa99
can now be launched effectively from the MRA"
